officially employed again

so, i got the job! the interview was dumb. i bullshited my way through the entire thing, and the woman ate it up. she was nice, but a little creepy. i was talking about being on a drill team in high school, and she starts telling me about her husband teaching her how to shoot. then she tells me that she lives out in the country, and how her husband has a lot of cars that he uses parts from. she says he was out of town one day, and she had to shoot a skunk, but she missed and shot out all the tailights. lady, i don't care. but i laughed and smiled. anything to get those tasty health benefits. i'm going to be working at the "fuel center". it's the albertson's gas station. i really didn't want to do that, but oh well. maybe after awhile i can transfer or something.

i have to take a mandatory drug test tomorrow. i know i'm going to pass it, but i can't help being scared. i do the same thing whenever i get an aids test. i know it's going to come back negative, but i can't help being scared that it'll pop positive.

i'm still holding out hope i get a call from petco, i'd much rather work there.

i know i'll hate it, but i really needed a job, so i'll have to bundle all that rage and hate up into a tight little ball and hide it in a dark corner of my mind.
