my eyes burn like the fire of one thousand suns

my allergies are pwning me. i'm wearing my glasses, since fiery death assaults my eyes whenever i try to get a contact in. make-up is totally out of the question. not that i had anywhere special to go today, or anyone special to see.
i forgot how much i hate wearing glasses. they keep sliding down my nose, and getting in the way of my hands when i try to rub my searing orbs of pain. i hate my immune system sometimes.
