Oh I agree with most of what you say, except for the federal funding part. If it had been just a 'this is what an abortion did to me, it's not a lighthearted decision' piece I would have had plenty of sympathy. Whether you agree with abortion or not it's still a horrible thing for a woman to go through.
It was her politicizing it and making it about 'I WANT YOUR MONEY' that put me off. I mean, are we meant to expect that if the abortion had been free, she would have been grinning through the whole thing? Chances are she would have felt just as awful.
