boys will be boys

i went with greg to brandon's house tonight after i got off work. i had fun. all the guys i love were there.
of course we played halo. ok, i suck at halo. i have a fucking blast, and i'm not completely terrible, but compared to the other guys, i'm bad. i've never captured the flag, i've never made an amazing kill. i've never gotten better than a double kill. i'm pretty much no use, except i'm pretty lucky with grenade kills. and i'm a good meat shield.
so ok, there we were, playing capture the flag. my team was comprised of myself [spooky], brandon [Pseudo], ethan [GRIM REAPER], and levi [Green]. the other team was greg [Howdy], chris [No One], peej [Goat], and steven [wrench]. levi gets the flag, and he's heading towards our base. i'm right behind him trying to cover him. he gets four steps from our base and gets sniped by howdy. so of course i run up to grab the flag and walk it the two remaining steps to score a point for my team. i grab the flag AND HOWDY FUCKING SNIPES ME BEFORE I CAN EVEN TAKE A STEP!!!!!!!111oneeleven(x, where y=2, and x=y/2). what. the. fuck. i could've scored a point. i could've been the bad ass for 5 minutes. but no, my boyfriend ruthlessly and without mercy kills me. yeah, he didn't get any tonight.

both my teams were knocked out. ghana lost to brazil awhile back, and germany lost to italy earlier yesterday. now i guess i'm going for portugal. not because i hate france or anything, but because i have the strongest feeling that they're feeling a little too cocky after beating brazil. i think they won't take portugal seriously enough, and end up losing.
