Ugh I was insufferable in high school

A recent post in another community asked people to post pictures of themselves when they were younger. I pulled out my old photo albums and found a few of myself from high school. I don't have a scanner so I just took a picture of the pictures (WE NEED TO GO DEEPER) with my phone and uploaded them. I thought I'd share.




My old boyfriend Travis and me in 10th grade. You can't tell but my hair was blue and black. JROTC (I was heavily involved in it) hadn't made me change it yet.


My good friend Elio and me in the JROTC officers lounge, senior year. A friend was taking random pictures of us during lunch. She started to take a picture of me when Elio flung himself over into the frame and almost fell.


Making mums for homecoming. I made one for myself and another for my friend Jeff (closeted on the football team).


Being stupid on the JROTC Senior Trip to Corpus Christi. Everyone was excited about seeing the beach but that shit was old hat for me (being from Florida).

Lol they're fine pictures, but I took a picture of the pictures with my iPhone 3G, and the camera on that sucks.

I also lived for JROTC back in the day. The majority of us ended up serving. We loved being part of the military even of as cadets. Best times of my high school life, other than getting my girlfriend to move in my junior and senior year.

what's it like being on OKC but not looking for a romantic relationship? I assume you still mostly wind up talking to guys. Are they ok with that? Do some still try to get you out on dates?

Hahaha thanks! I was one of the weird girls, and we were all friends so I'm sure you and I would have been friends too.

My OKC account is mostly used to troll people when I'm bored, so it says I'm single and looking. I've met a couple of nice dudes on it who have figured out the joke, but either they quit messaging me when I tell them I have a boyfriend or won't quit soliciting sex.

I think if you're up front and honest about just looking for friends you'll probably have better results.

Hahaha I loved that prom outfit. Tuxedo tshirt, poofy black skirt, and fishnets. I did the girly thing for the Military Ball, I was damned if I was going to do it again.
