GWAR show pictures
so finally, here's the pictures from the gwar/black dahlia murder/horse the band/terror show i went to.
horse the band fucking rocked. they were so awesome. they were the first band to play. unfortunately, since odessa sucks so much, horse the band was getting a lot of heckling and crap from the people there. but whatever, they were awesome.
terror played next, i pretty much sat that one out. they're a generic california thrash band. i thought they were boring, and sucked.
then the black dahlia murder went on. they only played like, 4 or 5 songs, but they fucking rocked. i had so much fun, i was right in front of trevor, the singer. they played all the songs i actually know.
then, after almost 45 minutes of waiting, gwar came on. HOLY SHIT SO AWESOME. too bad my camera died before their set was over. the crowd was crazy brutal, but i had a blast. i was sprayed w/ so many filthy pseudo-bodily fluids i was literally dripping wet. note to self: next gwar show i go see, bring a change of clothes. a FOUR HOUR CAR RIDE (yeah, we got lost a couple of times) back home is not enjoyable in went clothes.

some guy defying gravity to change the lighting for the next band, terror. i didn't waste any battery filming them.

pictures are pretty blurry on account of the TWO mosh pits behind and to either side of me.
guitarists. so awesome.
wth. an extreme closeup of the security guards's chin. yeah, i don't know what happened there. but mark his face well, he shows up in a few other pictures.
awesome picture. he was staring right at the camera.
i have a lot of pictures of him. he's so bad ass.

the pig/cop got stabbed in the neck, blood spurting everywhere.

most of these are really blurry too. the crowd was brutal.

i don't know who this guy was supposed to be, but he got his throat slit.
i was trying to get a clear shot of his massive schlong and two pairs of balls.
george bush. this part was hilarious. also, i was surprised gwar mentioned that they knew midland was the birthplace of bush.

my camera started dying around here, which sucks. i wish i had more shots of bush being killed. they cut off the top of his skull, and after the obligatory blood spew, i noticed a nice little touch. instead of a brain, he had a big pile of poop. i lol'd.
